The Irish Goodbye…

The Irish Goodbye is when you leave a party without saying “goodbye” to any of the guests. Here are a few other ethnic farewells you might not know about:

The German Goodbye: When you promise you’re not even coming to the party, then you show up and take over that party. You also kick out all the people you don’t like from that party.

The Mexican Goodbye: When you throw a party, then a bunch of people show up and kick you out, so you spend most of the night trying to sneak back into the party.

The Italian Goodbye: When you get in a fight with a guest at a party and both of you leave together. The guest is never seen again, and you don’t show up to another party for a few years because you “needed to wait until things cooled off.”

The Russian Goodbye: PARTY says goodbye to YOU!

The English Goodbye: When you try to stop a party from getting too big, then leave after all the guests throw the booze you brought into the ocean.

The French Goodbye: When you leave a party after making most of the women in the room uncomfortable. Or, when you get thrown out of a party, then return triumphantly as “the life of the party” for exactly 100 more minutes before getting thrown out again.

The Chinese Goodbye: When you announce your intent to leave a party and the host forces you to stay and recant your statement about how you wanted to leave the party.

The Greek Goodbye: You never say goodnight and refuse to stop partying until you’ve drunk all the booze at your party and all surrounding parties.

The American Goodbye: When you show up uninvited to a party then leave early to remodel your house.

Can you think of others?
